National Cadet Corps (NCC) Units:

Clearly mention the existence and functioning of these units and howit is benefiting the student development. A brief report should be given (without photographs).

• Boys and Girls NCC Unit: The NCC Unit established in September, 2017 in the college under control of 38 NCC Chhattisgarh Battalion NCC, C/o 1 CG R & V Regt NCC, Veterinary College Anjora, Durg (C.G.). Total 44 cadets (26 boy cadets (SD) and 18 girls (SW)) were enrolled in the unit during session 2017-18. The cadets are participating in the various NCC activities i.e. regular parades and scheduled classes held by officers of 38NCC Battalion and in-charge for boys and girls unit of this college. In addition to above, the NCC cadets are also involving in various actives like  Awareness on voting rights, Blood donation camp, personality development, Earth day celebration, Awareness on Malnutrition, Balance diet, Tree plantation week, Awareness on hygiene and sanitation, Women empowerment related activities, Awareness on disaster management, Career guidance activities and AIDS awareness camp in adopted village SurgiRajnandgaon. Self discipline, personality development and social service attitude in the students are being developed by involving in these activities in addition to improving academic qualifications.

• Neha Sinha (Senior under officer) NCC unit 38 CG Bn. , student of B.Sc. (Ag.) 4^th year at SKS CARS, Rajnandgaon secured first position in Firing competition and Awarded as “Best Cadet “ (Girls) in CACT-24 camp held at Anjora, Durg during 02.12.19 to 11.12.19

 

NCC cadets of CARS, Rajnandgaon attended 10 days combined annual training camp (CATC) at Raipur during 02^nd to 10^th October, 2019 & secured 1^st position in singing competition.
